Maria is excited to join the EXIT team and work with mentors Patrick Martens, her son, and Fred Martens, her husband. Maria has a passion for renovation and interior design as she has been involved in renovations, creating and designing two tourism accommodations in PEI.
Maria also enjoys the aspect of real estate being a “people-oriented business”. She has 12 years of hospitality experience as past owner and manager of an Inn located in Charlottetown, PEI, as well as the current owner of Grandview Country Suites. Having lived on a family farm, she also has familiarity with property ownership in rural Prince Edward Island.
